Paul Heyman Explains Why He Had To Betray Roman Reigns

Paul Heyman

Paul Heyman has opened up on what led him to turn on Roman Reigns.

In 2020, The Original Tribal Chief returned to WWE after several months of absence. He then revealed his alliance with Paul Heyman, who became his Wiseman.

The WWE Hall of Famer remained by the 40-year-old’s side until WrestleMania 41. At this year’s Show of Shows, Heyman shockingly turned on his Tribal Chief and his best friend, CM Punk, to side with Seth Rollins.

Alongside The Visionary, The Oracle formed a new faction with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed.

In a recent interview with Metro, Heyman explained why he felt he had to betray The Original Tribal Chief and form a new alliance with Rollins.

I never think short term. I always think long term. And the long term to me was that Roman Reigns and I had accomplished everything that we could.

It was time for Seth Rollins to elevate himself to be declared the greatest in ring performer of this or any other generation.

Roman Reigns Set To Address Paul Heyman On WWE RAW

On the RAW after WrestleMania 41, Roman Reigns attempted to get revenge on Paul Heyman and Seth Rollins. However, he was destroyed by The Visionary and Bron Breakker.

Last Monday on the red brand, The Original Tribal Chief returned after almost three months to take out Breakker and Bronson Reed as Heyman watched in disbelief.

WWE announced that Reigns will now address Heyman in a segment this Monday on RAW.
