Paul Heyman Brutally Attacked On WWE SmackDown

Paul Heyman has been torn in recent months as Solo Sikoa cements his place at the head of the table and on WWE SmackDown things took a drastic turn.

Since Roman Reigns lost his Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 he has not been seen in WWE, leaving Solo Sikoa to make his mark on The Bloodline.

Sikoa kicked Jimmy Uso out of the group after his own WrestleMania failure and brought in Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to bolster his version of The Bloodline. Jacob Fatu stormed into WWE taking out Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes as The Bloodline look to be more vicious than ever.

On SmackDown in New York City, Solo Sikoa vowed to hold an ‘Acknowledgment Ceremony’ as he looked to be recognised as Tribal Chief causing Paul Heyman even more anguish.

Paul Heyman Refuses To Acknowledge Solo Sikoa

At the end of the night, The Bloodline gathered in the ring and one by one Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu all acknowledged Solo Sikoa. Paul Heyman was then presented with the lei that he used to hang around the neck of Roman Reigns and as he grew emotional he was asked to acknowledge Solo Sikoa. For once in his life, however, Heyman could not tell a lie as he told The Bloodline he acknowledged that Solo Sikoa was not his Tribal Chief.

Paul Heyman was punished for his defiance as all four men laid him out before Jacob Fatu delivered a vicious flying headbutt from the top rope. In a move that will surely raise the eyebrows of Roman Reigns, Fatu, Loa, and Tonga delivered a triple powerbomb to Heyman through the announce table.
