Pat McAfee’s WWE Return Date Confirmed

Pat McAfee WWE

Pat McAfee is set for a hiatus from WWE but now it’s been confirmed when the former NFL star will be back on the call in the company.

It was announced in July that Pat McAfee will be returning as an analyst on ESPN’s popular College GameDay show that airs on Saturday mornings prior to that day’s huge college football games.

Now that September is almost here and the college football season is set to begin throughout the fall, there were questions about Pat McAfee’s future with WWE.

The WWE Raw commentary team since January 29th has been Michael Cole with Pat McAfee by his side. The duo were reunited after being together on Smackdown in previous years. However, changes are coming.

In a video clip on his Instagram Story, it was announced by McAfee himself that the August 19th edition of Raw in Fort Lauderdale, FL will be his last for a while.

Pat McAfee Coming To Netflix

That edition of Raw saw a highlight reel played for McAfee before his departure but as it turns out WWE fans won’t have long to wait to hear him back in the company as it was confirmed Pat McAfee will be back for Raw’s huge move to Netflix in January 2025.

ESPN’s Joe Tessitore will start as the play-by-play announcer on Raw on September 2nd while Michael Cole goes back to Smackdown as the blue brand gets set for its own move to the USA Network.
