Pat McAfee Returning To WWE Raw For Gunther Showdown
Pat McAfee suffered a shocking attack on WWE Raw after WrestleMania, and now it’s been revealed when he’ll be back as he sends a message to Gunther.
At WrestleMania 41, Gunther put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Jey Uso in the opening contest of the weekend. Uso survived the worst of The Ring General’s offence and even used it against him as Jey Uso tapped out Gunther with a sleeper hold to win the World Heavyweight Title for the first time in his career.
On Raw in Las Vegas, the fans chanted “you tapped out” at Gunther, which only added to his already raging anger after losing his title. Gunther confronted Michael Cole about the situation, with Cole replying that he wasn’t the one who tapped out. The former champion locked Cole into a chokehold before Pat McAfee broke it up. As officials ran out to stop the situation from escalating, Gunther locked McAfee in a chokehold and choked him out.

Adam Pearce asked Cole to take the rest of the night off, but Cole demanded to continue, noting that he wasn’t going to let a bully stop him from having opinions or having fun and from doing his job. SmackDown’s Joe Tessitore replaced McAfee for the rest of the broadcast.
Now, Pearce has confirmed that Pat McAfee will be back on Raw on April 28 in Kansas City, where McAfee is set to address the attack and Gunther. Some believe that this could lead to a match between the two stars in the near future.
