Pat McAfee Joins WWE Raw
On Raw in Tampa, the show began with Michael Cole and Pat McAfee at the announce desk as Cole revealed that they would be the new commentary duo for the red brand moving forward. What this means for Wade Barrett remains to be seen.
Cole and McAfee were the commentary duo for much of SmackDown’s run on FOX but it looks like WWE is positioning them as the ‘A’ announce team on the undisputed ‘A’ show as SmackDown is set to leave FOX later in 2024.
Triple H took to social media to note how thrilled he was to be welcoming McAfee back into the fold on a full-time basis.
Pat McAfee had suggested his WWE future was in doubt before the company was taken over by Endeavor but clearly, he is happy to work for the new regime in charge.
