Pat McAfee Breaks Silence On WWE Return

Pat McAfee is excited to realize his childhood dream again by returning to WWE.

On December 4th, Triple H revealed that Pat McAfee is on the verge of returning to WWE. McAfee has been absent from the announce booth for the past few months due to his commitments to ESPN College GameDay, which airs on Saturday mornings, and his popular YouTube show.

While Joe Tessitore is currently the voice of red brand alongside Wade Barrett, it has previously been confirmed that Pat McAfee will be on the headset when Raw moves to Netflix on January 6th, and he is expected to be joined by Michael Cole.

Pat McAfee Excited To Return To WWE Raw

Commenting on his return on social media, McAfee called it an “absolute honor” to be brought back to the company. The star also expressed his excitement about working with Cole, who he believes to be “the GOAT.”

“An absolute honor to be asked back.. A. Childhood dream realized every single time I’m lucky enough to be in an arena with the @WWE Universe.

Can’t wait to be talking into a microphone next to @MichaelCole again.. He’s the [GOAT].

As well as promoting the return of McAfee, Triple H has teased another celebrity taking an active role in WWE. The Chief Content Officer recently revealed that he had an interesting conversation with three-time CMT Award winner Jelly Roll, who claims he’s getting in shape so that he can step into the squared circle.
