Original Plans For Liv Morgan On WWE SmackDown Revealed

Liv Morgan with SmackDown Women's Championship

Liv Morgan’s current plans in WWE have reportedly changed.

SmackDown Women’s Champion, Liv Morgan has been on the run of her life since winning the Women’s Money In The Bank match, this past July, during the namesake premium live event. Morgan would immediately take advantage of an injured Ronda Rousey and cashed-in on ‘Rowdy’ following the latter’s successful title defense over Natalya, later that night to become champion.

Morgan would then controversially defeat Rousey at the following premium live event in the form of SummerSlam as Rousey cleared kicked out before the referee’s three-count, however, the referee didn’t see it and Morgan was declared the winner. The controversy has continued the pair’s feud which will culminate at next month’s PLE, Extreme Rules where Morgan and Rousey will clash for a third-time, this time, in an Extreme Rules Match.

However, in an update provided by Fightful Select, during the 9/16 episode of WWE SmackDown, Morgan was originally slated to come to the aid of Raquel Rodriguez in the latter’s confrontation with Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY of Damage CNTRL. Of course, this never happened and the returning Shotzi was the one who helped out Rodriguez.
