Orange Cassidy To Address Brutal Assault On AEW Dynamite

Orange Cassidy

Orange Cassidy will address the Blackpool Combat Club.

Since making his way back to AEW, John Moxley has been a man on a mission as he leads the re-energised Blackpool Combat Club on a path of destruction.

On the October 23rd edition of Dynamite, that destruction continued in brutal fashion. As the show was about to end, the faction arrived and promptly attacked Daniel Garcia and Private Party with chairs. Moxley then dragged Chuck Taylor to the ring, and Claudio Castagnoli stomped on a chair across his throat.

As the episode went off the air, Orange Cassidy arrived in the ring seconds too late to save his friend.

It’s been confirmed that Cassidy will address the attack on the special “Fright Night” episode of Dynamite on October 30th. It’s been rumoured that the star will face Moxley at Full Gear for the World Championship.

It’s also been announced that Hangman Adam Page will be on the show as he prepares to face Jay White at Full Gear. White made the challenge on the October 26th edition of Collision, and Tony Khan later made the bout official.

Orange Cassidy Doesn’t Want To Be The Face Of AEW

In a recent interview, Orange Cassidy addressed his role within AEW and surprisingly admitted he never wanted to be the face of the company. However, he said that the assault on Taylor and the recent actions of the BCC had left him little choice.

I don’t think that I am, nor should I be. I don’t want that. I never wanted that. I wanted to do what I had to do and go home. After what happened last night, it’s been made very clear to me that I think I have no choice in the situation.

Also on Dynamite, Adam Cole will make his return to the ring as he takes on Buddy Matthews. Cole hasn’t wrestled since teaming with MJF at All Out 2023. You can find the full updated card below.
