Orange Cassidy Targets AEW Star After Worlds End Loss

Orange Cassidy

Orange Cassidy blames a specific AEW wrestler for preventing him from becoming the new World Champion.

For the second AEW PPV in a row, Orange Cassidy was in a World Title match at Worlds End. While Orange got to face AEW World Champion Jon Moxley in a singles match at Full Gear, this time at Worlds End it was Orange against Moxley, “Hangman” Adam Page, and Jay White in a Fatal 4-Way match.

There was a point toward the end of the Worlds End match when Orange Cassidy hit Moxley with an Orange Punch leading to a two count because Hangman was there to pull referee Bryce Remsburg out of the ring while he was about to make the three count.

If Page didn’t pull out the referee at that specific moment, it’s possible that Cassidy would be the AEW World Champion right now.

In a digital exclusive video posted by AEW on social media, Cassidy sounded like a man at a crossroads and then he mentioned specifically going after Hangman Page.

I don’t know what I’m doing, I don’t know why I’m here – whatever I’ve been doing has not been working. But I’m going to keep showing up and find whatever it is I’m missing, and this Wednesday on Dynamite I should probably start with Hangman.”
