“One Of The Best” – Booker T On Ex-WWE Star

WWE Hall Of Famer Booker T has heaped praise on a former WWE Superstar, claiming that they are one of the best at what they do.

There has been an acrimonious atmosphere between WWE and Sasha Banks for over a month now, with the former Women’s Champion walking out of an episode of Monday Night Raw alongside Naomi despite being scheduled to compete in the main event of the show.

Both women were suspended by WWE whilst also being stripped of the Women’s Tag Team Championships, with the pair reportedly handing the title belts to John Laurinaitis before they walked out.

There are currently plenty of reports claiming Sasha Banks has left WWE, even claiming that the deal for her to leave the company was finalised “weeks ago”.

Former multi-time world champion Booker T, speaking on his Hall Of Fame podcast, has now weighed in with his opinion of ‘The Boss’, claiming she was one of the best performers the company had on their books.

I know talent when I see it and I’ve always put Sasha near the head of the table as far as being one of the best performers in WWE or as far as what we’ve seen in the women. Period. She knows what she’s doing inside that ring, I can’t take that away from her – and no one can.

Sasha, just say, for instance, you weren’t a big wrestling fan and you say, ‘Have you heard Sasha Banks?’ And you go, ‘I’ve heard that name before, I don’t know who that is, but I’ve heard that name before.’ Sasha, her name will get there well before her because she’s that good.

There has been no official confirmation on the status of Sasha Banks either from herself or WWE, with her profile still listed on the company’s website.
