Just One AEW Star Allegedly Deserves Their Own Locker Room

In the wrestling world, having one’s own locker room is considered prestigious.

The respective company may bestow the honor upon a wrestler for various reasons, including their status, importance, and influence among peers.

In WWE, stars like Charlotte Flair and Roman Reigns are rumored to have private spaces.

Likewise, in AEW, talents like Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks usually get locker rooms during major events.

Recently, Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) of The Hurt Syndicate detailed the locker room hierarchy during a podcast on his YouTube channel.

A few days later, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray shared his insights on the same topic during his Busted Open Radio session.

While multiple wrestlers or factions may have locker room privileges in AEW, he claimed only Chris Jericho deserved the distinction.

I can understand why Chris Jericho [gets one], because Chris Jericho was one of the first guys there. And Chris Jericho is the biggest worldwide superstar in the company.

There is no bigger star in AEW than Chris Jericho. It would be impossible, because Chris Jericho worked for the WWE, Chris Jericho worked for New Japan. Chris Jericho is a name all of the planet, whether it’s wrestling, whether it’s rock and roll band. I understand why Chris Jericho would have his own locker room. [H/T: WrestlingInc.com]
