Omos Joins New AAA Faction Amid Uncertain WWE Future
Omos recently joined a new faction in AAA.
The 7’3 Giant showed at AAA Guerra de Titanes on December 20, 2025, at Arena Guadalajara in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico, during the Dragon Lee vs. El Hijo del Vikingo singles match.
He attacked Dragon Lee to help Vikingo win the bout. Post-match, AAA authority figure Dorian Roldan entered the ring, shook hands with both, and announced the formation of a new “El Ojo” faction, officially aligning Omos with Vikingo.

The 33-year-old star last competed on televised WWE programming during the April 5, 2024, episode of Friday Night SmackDown. He participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, which was won by Bronson Reed.
Following that appearance, he vanished from WWE TV for over a year and a half, sparking fan speculation about his status. He broke his in-ring silence with a surprise return to WWE in October 2025 and faced NXT superstars in house shows.
During his absence from WWE, he competed in NOAH and AAA for a while. He is yet to return to WWE TV.
Omos Could Return To WWE TV At 2026 Royal Rumble
Omos was recently seen traveling with the WWE promotional tour in Saudi Arabia. He was photographed goofing around with Randy Orton, Liv Morgan, and other stars in a playful foam-brick tower-building contest at MrBeast Land.
His spot on the Saudi tour strongly suggests that a main roster comeback might be on the way. He could make his TV return at the 2026 Royal Rumble on Saturday, January 31, 2026, in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, participating in the men’s Rumble match.
Omos has great talent, but WWE is failing to capitalize on it. The fans also miss him on WWE TV very much. It would be interesting to see when Triple H will bring him back.
