Omos Makes Shock WWE In-Ring Return
Omos is back.
Prior to October 9, 2025, Omos hadn’t stepped into a WWE ring since taking part in the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal just 24 hours before WrestleMania 40 in April 2024.
Following his disappearance from the main roster, the giant star headed to Pro Wrestling NOAH in early 2025, where he won the GHC Tag Team Championship. While that run promised much, and an early recall suggested big things were on the way, he again dropped from view.
It wasn’t until August that Omos popped up again, this time, competing at AAA TripleMania XXXIII, winning the Copa Bardahl Cibernetico.
Fast forward to an NXT live event in Columbus, Ohio, and after well over a year, Omos finally wrestled in a WWE ring once again. On the show, he quickly saw off Lexis King, who demanded a rematch. Unfortunately for King, the second match ended the same way as the first.
Omos Staying With WWE For Several Years
Back in June, Omos revealed that he’d signed a new multi-year contract with WWE despite his lack of appearances. Although not giving away any details, the star said he was excited about what was to come.
He went on to describe his spell with Pro Wrestling NOAH as “phenomenal,” and something that had greatly benefited him on a personal level as well as professionally.
The Nigerian Giant officially signed with WWE in 2019, and it wouldn’t be long until he arrived on the main roster. He went on to win the Raw Tag Team Championship with AJ Styles before going on to link up with MVP.
