Omos Going After Championship Gold But Not In WWE
The gigantic Omos is finally heading back to the ring and challenging for championship gold but he won’t be doing it in WWE.
Omos’ last televised singles match in WWE took place in May 2023 when Seth Rollins defeated him at Backlash. Since then his TV appearances have been reduced to battle royals and the 2024 men’s Royal Rumble. His last outing of any kind was the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the SmackDown before WrestleMania 40.
But now the 7-foot tall star is in line for a title shot but he’s having to travel to the other side of the world to get it.
Omos Heading To Pro Wrestling NOAH
Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan has confirmed that the mystery star they have been teasing is Omos. Omos is set to team up with Jack Morris to challenge Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Tag Team Championship on January 1 at Budokan Hall.
The behemoth was unveiled at a Pro Wrestling NOAH press conference ahead of the show where he was accompanied by current NOAH and former WWE star Yoshitatsu.

Omos won’t be the only WWE star on NOAH The New Year on January 1 as the current United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura will clash with Ulka Sasaki in a non-title match.
Omos’ WWE future remains uncertain and a former WWE Champion revealed several stars wanted Omos fired by the company.
