Omos Announces WWE Return

Omos WWE

Omos is heading back to the United States.

WWE Superstar Omos made his Pro-Wrestling NOAH debut at the company’s New Year’s Day show in Tokyo. During the show, the star was unveiled as Jack Morris’ mystery tag team partner and the pair quickly won the GHG Tag Team Championships with a win over Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura.

During an event in Osaka on January 25th, the giant star announced his intention to return to WWE while handing his championship belt to Team 2000X stablemate Daga.

“I’m going back to WWE so I’ll give this belt to Daga. Please increase the value of this belt. The champs are now Jack Morris & Daga. I don’t know when but I’ll come back”

Ex-WWE Star Talks Up Omos

After guiding Bobby Lashley to the WWE Championship on two occasions and leading the Hurt Business, MVP aligned with Omos, turning his back on the star. Over the next two years, Omos sat under MVP’s learning tree, although he found on-screen appearances hard to come by for much of 2023 and 2024.

During an interview after leaving WWE, MVP said you’d have to be an “idiot” not to be able to make money with Omos. The now-AEW star commended the former Raw Tag Team Champion for his work ethic and desire to learn.

MVP added that Triple H said he was reluctant to use the star too often as he didn’t want him to become over-exposed like The Big Show in the 90s and 2000s.
