Oba Femi Calls Out Returning WWE Star: “You Can’t Bully Anybody”
Oba Femi comments on Omos’ attack.
After Oba Femi defeated Je’Von Evans, he was attacked by the faction DarkState at the NXT live event in Detroit, Michigan, on October 10, 2025. Omos then made the save by chasing DarkState out of the ring, showing support for Oba temporarily.
However, in a surprising turn, Omos and Oba Femi then came face-to-face in the ring. The moment ended dramatically with Omos laying out Oba Femi. WWE later confirmed that Omos and Oba Femi are scheduled to face off in a match at an NXT live event in Cleveland on October 11, 2025.
Oba Femi Has a Message for Omos
Ahead of their scheduled clash, Oba Femi called out Omos for his attack on him:
This is a message from The Ruler directly to The Giant Omos. You came here to Detroit city under the disguise of being an ally of The Ruler. When I least expected it, you turned on me, and you hit me when I wasn’t looking. Omos, you know what that tells me? That tells me that you think you can come down from your throne, from your pedestal, and come here to NXT and try to bully people. Huh, you can’t bully anybody. Especially not The Ruler.
So, I’ll tell you this, tomorrow NXT is going to be in Cleveland. So, why don’t you come down from your pedestal one more time and face The Ruler one-on-one? Because there can only be one Nigerian giant. There can only be one giant of Africa. There can only be one dominant force, and his name is not Omos. His name is Oba Femi.
Omos was absent from WWE programming for a long time because WWE did not have creative plans for him on television. His last WWE appearance before the absence was at the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5, 2024 episode of SmackDown. He made his surprise in-ring WWE return at an NXT live event in Columbus, Ohio, on October 9, 2025.
