It was a huge night in the career for Brinley Reece as she made her televised debut on NXT.
At No Mercy, it was announced that an NXT Women’s Breakout Tournament would begin on the 3rd of October. The participants were revealed with Jakara Jackson, Karmen Petrovic, Lola Vice, Jaida Parker, Izzi Dame, Dani Palmer, Kelani Jordan, and Arianna Grace all taking part.
Sadly for Jakara Jackson, she didn’t end up competing in the tournament as WWE confirmed she had been pulled out due to not being cleared to compete. Instead, Brinley Reece took her place and she made her televised NXT debut on the 17th of October edition of the show against Arianna Grace. Grace pulled out the victory to move on in the tournament.
Only the beginning for Brinley Reece in NXT
Following the loss, Brinley Reece took to social media to reflect on her debut and says it’s only the start for her in the company:
“This is only the beginning for the Brinley brand. Im so blessed for this opportunity and I will come back stronger Thank for all the love and support, No one can stop this ENERGY!!!”
