NXT Stars Make WWE SmackDown Debut

The actions of WWE star Baron Corbin have come back to bite him on SmackDown as NXT stars Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams kept a close eye on Corbin’s match.

On Friday Night SmackDown in Des Moines, Iowa Baron Corbin had the chance to qualify for the men’s Money In The Bank match as he took on Butch. However, it was the English star who booked his place in the huge ladder match that will take place in London, England and Corbin might have his shenanigans in NXT to blame.

Following NXT Champion Carmelo Hayes’ successful title defense against Noam Dar on the 30th of May edition of NXT Baron Corbin returned to the brand to attack Hayes and hit him with the End of Days before posing with Hayes’ championship.

That led to Corbin taking on Hayes’ associate Trick Williams one week later with the former US Champion picking up the win.

SmackDown saw Hayes and Williams get a measure of revenge as they were sitting in the front row for Corbin’s bout against Butch. Butch picked up the quick win and after the match, Corbin attacked Williams which led to Carmelo Hayes launching an attack on the free agent.
