Several WWE stars crossed the line at TNA Genesis as NXT made its presence felt in a big way.

WWE and TNA have signed an official partnership, shoring up an agreement that has been in place for most of 2024. As a result of that partnership, then TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace appeared in the Royal Rumble with several stars going back and forth between TNA and NXT throughout the year.

Perhaps the most notable star to have crossed over was Joe Hendry who challenged for the NXT Championship at No Mercy. The Scottish star failed to win that gold but at Genesis, Joe Hendry captured the TNA World Championship for the first time in his career.

But there were plenty of NXT stars also on hand at Genesis.

Plenty Of NXT Stars At TNA Genesis

NXT Tag Team Champions Nathan Frazer and Axiom made their presence felt before The Hardys defended their TNA Tag Team Title against The Rascalz. Fraxiom ended up getting inadvertently involved as Trey Miguel aimed a dive to the outside at the Hardys but ended up hitting the NXT pair instead. Things threatened to break down before security led Nathan Frazer and Axiom away. Fraxiom now face the prospect of defending their NXT title against The Rascalz on the next edition of TNA Impact.

TNA Knockouts Champion Masha Slamovich appeared on NXT television recently and that did not escape the attention of Cora Jade. Jade appeared after Slamovich successfully defended her title against Rosemary to stare down the champion.

Ashante ‘Thee’ Adonis appeared on the Genesis pre-show issuing an open challenge that was answered by Jake Something. Something defeated Adonis in less than four minutes. Arianna Grace also made her presence felt as the liaison between TNA and NXT.
