NXT Star Trusting Shawn Michaels & Triple H To Handle Main Roster Call-Up

An NXT star is trusting Triple H and Shawn Michaels to call them up to the main roster when the time is right.

After building a career in taekwondo, which saw her represent the United States, Lola Vice turned her attention to MMA in 2019.

This saw the would-be star sign with Bellator, where she quickly racked up a 5-1 record; however, it wasn’t long until she decided to move on once again. Just three years later, Vice signed with WWE following a successful try-out during WrestleMania 38 weekend.

Shortly after her debut in NXT, Vice won the Breakout Tournament and continued to be heavily featured on television. But with the arrivals of the likes of Stephanie Vaquer, Giulia, and Jordynne Grace, she’s taken something of a backseat, meaning her more recent run has gone under the radar.

However, that doesn’t mean she hasn’t got her eyes on the main roster.

Lola Vice Happy To Trust Triple H

During an appearance on Busted Open After Dark, Vice was asked about her career to date and a potential call-up to the main roster. In response, the star explained that she trusts Triple H and Shawn Michaels to move her when the time is right, while it’s her job to make sure she’s ready.

“Well, I trust HBK and I trust Hunter, whenever they feel like I’m ready. If they called me tomorrow, I know I could adapt in the moment, I know I could perform under big pressure and on big shows. So I’d be able to do it. But I think it’s a timing thing and whenever they think that I’m ready, I’m gonna give them the best show.

There’s so much more I could do, but it takes time and experience. But I think the day I make it to the main roster, God willing, people are going to see the real entertainer.”

Lola Vice was most recently in action on the June 17 edition of NXT, where she lost out to Jordynne Grace. The match formed part of the Evolution Eliminator tournament, which was won by Grace, who’ll now challenge Jacy Jayne for the NXT Women’s Championship at Evolution.
