NXT Star “Done” With The Brand

One NXT star has cleaned out their locker and says they’re done with the show.

The 12th of September edition of NXT began with a huge number one contender match between Wes Lee and Ilja Dragunov. The two stars had the chance to face Carmelo Hayes for the NXT Championship at No Mercy but in the end, it was Dragunov who picked up the win.

Later in the night, Hayes was seen in the locker room alongside Trick Williams while in the background Wes Lee could be seen apparently cleaning out his locker and taking his name down. Lee was then seen leaving the arena where his wife was waiting for him at the door. Lee told his wife that he had “cleaned out his locker” and was “done” before walking away.

What next for Wes Lee in NXT?

Wes Lee previously held the North American Championship before losing the gold to Dominik Mysterio back in July. Since then Lee has already failed to dethrone Carmelo Hayes for his gold at Heatwave and his latest loss seems to have tipped him over the edge.

Lee could be set to move to the main roster on either Raw or SmackDown or much like The Creed Brothers have done in recent weeks, he could find a way back onto the white and gold brand’s roster to try and finally win the title that has so far alluded him.
