NXT Stand & Deliver Updated Lineup With Seven Matches

The next WWE NXT Premium Live Event is called Stand & Deliver during WrestleMania weekend with seven matches officially announced.

During this week’s WWE NXT TV show, there were more matches confirmed and added to the NXT Stand & Deliver lineup. Next week’s NXT show was also taped this week, but we will keep this spoiler free.

In the main event of Stand & Deliver, Bron Breakker will defend the NXT Championship against Carmelo Hayes in a first-time-ever match between the brand’s two biggest stars over the last 18 months. They were victorious in a tag team main event match over Pretty Deadly.

Johnny Gargano will face Grayson Waller at S&D with Gargano wanting Waller to face him in an Unsanctioned Match. Waller said he’ll agree, but only if Gargano isn’t on NXT next week.

Tiffany Stratton & Lyra Valkyria won qualifying matches for Ladder Match to crown a new NXT Women’s Champion. They join Zoey Stark & Gigi Dolin in the match. The fifth woman will be the winner of the Indi Hartwell, Ivy Nile & Sol Ruca match on next week’s NXT show.

There’s a Fatal 5-Way match for the NXT North American Title with Wes Lee defending against Dragon Lee (no relation), Ilja Dragunov, JD McDonagh and the winner of a battle royal that airs on next week’s NXT show. For Dragon Lee, it will be his NXT in-ring debut.

Gallus are the NXT Tag Team Champions, who are oftentimes filmed in a bar. The Creed Brothers met them there for some pool, darts and a match challenge. Tony D’Angelo & Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo arrived and the three teams spent an afternoon drinking. Normally teams earn a title shot by winning a match, but in this case at Stand & Deliver, they got title shots by getting drunk with the champions.

An eight-person mixed tag team match will also take place. Chase U (Andre Chase, Duke Hudson & Thea Hail) & Tyler Bate will face Schism (Joe Gacy, Rip Fowler, Jagger Reid & Ava) and if Chase U loses then Schism gets control of Chase U. For Ava (The Rock’s daughter), it will be her first televised match.

Lastly, NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Kiana James & Fallon Henley will try to be on the same page for their title defense against Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn.

There’s a unique start time for Stand & Deliver locally since it takes place at 10 AM Pacific Time in Los Angeles on WrestleMania Saturday, April 1st.
