NXT General Manager Ava Bans Popular Star From The Show
NXT New Year’s Evil was off to a quick and explosive start tonight, following a brutal attack on the Women’s North American Champion, Thea Hail, as she made her way down to the ring.
She was set to defend her title against Blake Monroe, but the former champion brutally attacked her before the bell could ring, leading to the match being abandoned for the time being.
She met the NXT General Manager, Ava, following her attack and asked to be handed the North American title as Thea was unable to compete, but she didn’t expect what came next.
Blake Monroe was sent home from NXT New Year’s Evil
Instead of handing the title over, Ava gave some bad news to Monroe as she announced that, following her brutal attack on Thea, Blake was banned from the building for the rest of the night.

Monroe’s actions led to her being sent away, which has effectively ruled the match a no-contest, and it looks like she might have to wait at least another week before she can compete for the title again.
