NXT Ends With Shock Kiss Between Two Stars

Art imitated life at the end of NXT as two stars in a real relationship kissed in the ring despite previously being unconnected on screen.

The saga of Trick Williams and Carmelo Hayes has rumbled on for months in NXT. Carmelo Hayes finally turned on his former friend and partner at the end of Vengeance Day as he launched a brutal attack on Williams. However, Trick Williams is now back in NXT following that assault and he had something to say to Hayes.

The last segment of the 12th of March edition of NXT saw Trick Williams address Carmelo Hayes in the ring. Williams challenged Hayes to a match at Stand and Deliver on April 6th. However, before much else could be said the star was soon confronted by the Meta-Four quartet of Noam Dar, Oro Mensah, Lash Legend, and Jakara Jackson.

Trick Williams Shares A Kiss In NXT Ring

Dar exchanged a few words with Williams before a fight broke out. Trick Williams handily got the better of the Scottish Supernova before doing the same with Oro Mensah. It was then that Lash Legend swung a punch at Williams but he caught her hand before spinning her around and locking lips with his real-life girlfriend. The special moment was cheered loudly by the fans and even got a “shucky ducky quack quack” from Booker T on commentary.

The only matches confirmed for NXT Stand & Deliver so far are Ilja Dragunov defending the NXT Championship against Tony D’Angelo and Baron Corbin & Bron Breakker putting the NXT Tag Team Championship on the line against the winners of a tournament.
