Nobody In WWE Fooled By Karrion Kross Exit
Karrion Kross and Scarlett have apparently left WWE, but there are plenty in the company who think they’re not going anywhere after all.
Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s WWE exits have seemingly been confirmed by the company. Kross has explained how disappointed he was with contract talks between him and WWE prior to his exit. But is all of this simply a ruse?
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why a lot of people in WWE are sceptical that Kross and Scarlett are actually leaving the company:
It’s definitely being kept quiet. It’s a weird one. There’s definitely way, way, way too much talk and the nature of the talk makes me think there’s more to it.
They gave him an offer, and he didn’t sign as of this week. He may be a free agent. I know he’s doing a lot of media because his book came out on Tuesday, and the people who are doing interviews with him are being told – it’s not WWE sending him on tour, it’s ECW Press – and they basically said, you cannot ask any questions regarding his contract situation. He doesn’t really talk about it in his interviews; he talks about his life, not the WWE part of his life so much.
The belief in WWE is that he’s going to be back, but we’ll see. They are not telling anyone anything, but everyone’s pretty sceptical. Are they working the boys on this if he comes back? You could say yes, but it’s not like they’re being fooled.
WWE Would Let Karrion Kross & Scarlett Do Outside Bookings
Kross and Scarlett have offered themselves up for bookings, but Meltzer doesn’t necessarily think that means the whole situation isn’t an elaborate work:
Here’s the thing, if they’re doing a work, they’ll do bookings. If you’re doing it, you’d do bookings. If you’re doing it to do the Ron Killings, but this time it’s an angle, which most people think this is. If you’re actually going to do that you have to take bookings and if you go to TNA everyone’s gonna go, “Ah they’re going to TNA, that’s bullsh*t!” So they have to do some indies.
If they go to AEW, then it’s real. That’s the one [WWE] wouldn’t let them do.
