No Surprise If Vince McMahon Follows Brock Lesnar Back To WWE
Following Brock Lesnar’s return to WWE, it’s been proposed that Vince McMahon could even make his comeback to the company.
Brock Lesnar made his shock return to WWE at SummerSlam, where he attacked John Cena moments after Cena had lost the WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes.
Lesnar had not been seen in the company since SummerSlam 2023 due to his being implicated in the lawsuit brought against Vince McMahon, accusing McMahon of serious sexual abuse and sex trafficking. It was alleged by a former WWE employee that she was used as a pawn as part of Brock Lesnar’s contract negotiations with WWE.
With Lesnar now back in the fold, there has been a suggestion that the door is ajar for Vince McMahon to even walk back into WWE in the future.
Could Vince McMahon Return To WWE?
Speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer explained why he wouldn’t be surprised if Vince McMahon did return to WWE now that TKO has seen the reaction Brock Lesnar received:
I wouldn’t be surprised [if Vince McMahon returned to WWE]. I just got a thing from TKO two/three days ago about Vince’s stock and everything. They want to make moments. I think Brock shows them what the reaction will be to Vince, and it’d be a tough one to do.
I don’t think he’ll ever be put back in charge of creative, that I don’t expect. He’s not gonna be back until that lawsuit is settled, and he may never be back, and he should never be back. That’s the first thing when I saw Brock – the only one who won’t be back is [John] Laurinaitis. He won’t be back. First of all, he turned on Vince.
