No AEW Creative Plans For Missing Team

Tony Khan AEW

There are plenty of people not seen week-to-week on AEW TV that fans want more of but for one group in the company that doesn’t look likely any time soon.

Some AEW fans are frustrated by the company apparently putting its talent into cold storage when not being featured in major storylines. Private Party have not competed in the company since losing the AEW Tag Team Championship in January while Mariah May has also disappeared after suffering the wrong end of Toni Storm’s Hollywood ending at Revolution.

Questions have also been asked about The Vendetta team of Deonna Purrazzo and Taya Valkyrie. Valkyrie has only appeared in an AEW ring once in 2025 although is still active in CMLL while Purrazzo has had three AEW matches so far this year, losing them all. And it seems there could be light at the end of the tunnel for the pair.

No AEW Plans For The Vendetta

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has now shed more light on what is happening – or rather not happening – with Deonna Purrazzo in AEW. Although Purrazzo is also studying for a degree, that has never interfered with her bookings for AEW. Purrazzo is said to have made creative pitches but as things stand there are no immediate creative plans for her or The Vendetta in the company.

Despite the vignette hinting at a third member of the group, Sapp noted there was never an actual plan to do that and the tease was done simply to add some intrigue.
