NJPW Star Launches Attack On Tony Khan, Kenny Omega And WWE Champion

Kenny Omega Reveals Which WWE Hall Of Famer He Loved To Watch

Kenny Omega remains under attack.

On January 5th, Kenny Omega will wrestle his first match in 13 months after being diagnosed with diverticulitis in December 2023. After a long and arduous recovery, Omega is now preparing to resume his career and retake his spot at the top of the wrestling world.

The first obstacle in his way is NJPW star Gabe Kidd. Following an appearance from Omega at NJPW Power Struggle, he was attacked backstage by Kidd and a match between the pair was eventually set for Wrestle Dynasty.

The issues between the rivals have grown increasingly personal in recent weeks, and Kidd in particular has been determined to leave no doubt about how he really feels heading into the match.

“F*ck Kenny Omega” – Gabe Kidd

Ahead of the match at the Tokyo Dome, Kidd sat down with Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp for a wide-ranging interview that included a spectacular foul-mouthed rant aimed at Omega, Tony Khan, the AEW roster, and just about everyone else in the wrestling world.

“F*ck anyone who is next up. F*ck Kenny Omega. F*ck his co-workers. F*ck his boss. Not even his boss, his co-founder. F*ck all of them. F*ck the guy who is the WWE Champion. F*ck all of them. F*ck every single one of them. I’m the one up in it. It’s my year this year. Everyone likes to say that, then they don’t do sh*t. They win a little tag title on the Indies. ‘This is my year.’ Shut your f*cking mouth. This is my year. F*ck Tony Khan as well, little b*tch. F*ck you. Cry more, p*ssy. All of you. F*ck ’em,”

In an earlier interview, Gabe Kidd called Tony Khan a “f*cking idiot” before branding Omega a “rat.” The star suggested that even if Khan is interested in signing him, he wouldn’t want to work for AEW and become one of the guys hanging around catering doing nothing.

According to Fightful, Kidd’s contract with NJPW expires soon, although the report didn’t provide an exact timeframe.
