Nikki Bella And Former WWE Champion Want “Total Divas” To Return
Nikki Bella and a former Women’s Champion in WWE are calling for the return of “Total Divas.”
The “Total Divas” reality show aired for nine seasons, comprising 120 episodes, on the E! Network from July 2013 to December 2019. The show featured top female WWE superstars, including The Bella Twins (Nikki & Brie Bella), Natalya, Naomi, Paige, Maryse, and others.
It was a show that covered the behind-the-scenes life of WWE superstars, while also showing their real-life relationships. Nikki Bella dated and was engaged to John Cena for most of the show’s run before they split up.
There were some WWE couples who got married on Total Divas as well, such as Brie Bella with Daniel Bryan (aka Bryan Danielson), Natalya with Tyson Kidd, and Naomi with Jimmy Uso.
Based on the success of “Total Divas,” E! Network also did Total Bellas featuring the lives of Nikki Bella and Brie Bella.
Since “Total Bellas” has been off the air for nearly six years, some people are clamoring for its return. Nikki Bella and Saraya (former Paige in WWE) talked about a potential “Total Divas” return on the Nikki & Brie Show podcast.
Saraya: “Especially ‘Total Divas’ too. That was so exhausting. I had the best time, you know, with that. I wish we could, not redo it, but I wish we could have like another season to see where we all are now. You know?
Nikki: Yes. I agree.
Brie: I mean, everyone wants it and all the girls who were part of “Total Divas” all want to reboot it. I think it’d be amazing.
Nikki: I think it would be huge.
Saraya: Yeah. 100%.
Nikki: I just see, especially with some of us with the “Total Divas” of like, when you see the success of, “And Just Like That” with “Sex and the City,” like we’re all doing so many different things now in our new eras of life. That would be so cool to bring it all back together with all of us. It would just be a lot of fun and I think it would be a huge success as well.
Saraya: For sure. 100%. 100%. ‘Total Divas’ reunion, let’s go.”
It’s worth noting that while WWE was successful in the 2010s when “Total Divas” was on air, the company is now even bigger, with more fans attending shows, and its worldwide audience is enormous.
