Nikki Bella Suffers Injury In Ring After WWE Return

Nikki Bella is carrying a visible battle wound.

The former WWE Divas Champion recently competed in a battle royal at Evolution PLE, ultimately won by Stephanie Vaquer.

Bella returned to the company last month and immediately entered into a feud with Liv Morgan. Both women were expected to have a showdown at the all-women’s event.

However, the storyline was scrapped due to Morgan’s legitimate injury. It was later announced that Nikki Bella would feature in the battle royal match.

The 41-year-old recently appeared on Cody Rhodes’ podcast What Do You Wanna Talk About?, where they discussed a variety of topics.

At one point, Rhodes pointed at an abrasion on Bella’s arm, asking if she was carrying a battle wound.

Rhodes: Is this a battle wound you’re carrying on your arm from tonight?

Bella: Yeah, look at that.

Rhodes: Who did it?

Bella: You know what? I got by butt kicked by quite a few women. I was really given tonight. [41:45 onwards]

Nikki Bella was one of the last four women left in the battle royal alongside Vaquer, Lash Legend, and Nia Jax.

Nikki Bella Registers First Win After 2,451 Days

Nikki Bella and Chelsea Green went at it during the battle royal match at Evolution.

After their showing, it was announced that the duo would face each other on the July 14 episode of RAW, in what would be Bella’s first match in nearly 7 years.

Green was accompanied to the ring by her stablemates. In a back-and-forth match that witnessed interferences from Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, Bella beat Green by hitting her with Rack Attack 2.0.

The trio then attacked Nikki, but she was rescued by Vaquer.
