Nikki Bella returned to WWE in June 2025.

She was immediately involved in a feud with Liv Morgan, but a real-life injury to the latter forced the company to alter the plans for her.

A few weeks later, the Hall of Famer announced that she would compete in the Battle Royal match at the Evolution PLE, of which she was the top-4 finalist.

She then entered a feud with the current Women’s Intercontinental Championship Becky Lynch. Their rivalry got personal after Lynch brought up Bella’s past relationship with John Cena during a face-off.

At Clash in Paris, Lynch beat Nikki Bella to retain her IC Championship.

In the midst of her in-ring segments and matches, Bella did something on social media that her fans couldn’t stop talking about.

Nikki Bella Hilariously Calls Out An Ex-Boyfriend

Nikki Bella and Dolph Ziggler were a couple early on in their WWE careers around 2008.

Their relationship ended, but during a 2015 episode of Total Divas, Ziggler confessed to still having feelings for Nikki.

However, at the time, Bella was in a relationship with John Cena. When Ziggler tried to kiss her, she slapped him.

Cena and Bella broke up after being together for six years. Since then, Nikki Bella has been married and recently got divorced.

She has, however, stated that she is enjoying being single.

Bella recently posted a picture of herself on social media, captioned, “Serving (not coward). #fearlessnikki #MondayNightRAW.” It caught the eye of her former boyfriend, Dolph Ziggler, who is signed with TNA under his real name Nic Nemeth.

He commented on the post with an ‘eyes’ emoji. To this, Nikki Bella responded:

No Dolph I won’t have your babies… lol

or are those eyes bc you are way more (not coward) than me

Bella was heavily booed during her match at Clash in Paris. Later, she issued a response, which perfectly summed up her class and maturity.
