Nikki Bella Outlines Retirement Plan

Nikki Bella is closing on retirement.

WWE legend Nikki Bella made a surprise return to television back in January when Raw debuted on Netflix. She followed that up by making an in-ring comeback as part of the women’s Royal Rumble match.

After stating that her comeback wasn’t a one-off, Bella has been a regular on Raw through the second half of the year and challenged Becky Lynch for the Women’s Intercontinental Championship at Clash in Paris.

More recently, Bella turned heel by attacking her friend and Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer. It’s since been announced that the pair will meet at Survivor Series with the gold on the line.

Nikki Bella’s Current WWE Return Will Be Her Last

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nikki admitted that it had been difficult to embark on her current run without her sister Brie by her side. Interestingly, she also confirmed that her current stint back in the ring will be her last.

“It’s hard. I mean, it’s always amazing and I’ve had my solo runs so, I think, especially when you’re an identical twin, you’re used to doing so many things together. It’s empowering when you have to do things on your own.

But, I know that however long this run is — a year, two years — it will be my last and final, and you know, in our industry you never wanna say never but, I’m just being realistic. But, I started with her and I wanna end with her. I know everyone wants it and I think it would be really cool for the fans and as well for this new era, and especially when you turn me heel.

I mean, I’m only super bad when I got sidekicks. It’s hard, and I hope I at least get to end it with her. I mean, two bad b*tches are way better than one.”

Her comments come after Brie Bella reiterated that she’d like to return to the ring at least one more time. Brie said that she felt she’d got one more run left with her, adding that she’d also like to reunite with her sister on television.
