Nikki Bella May Turn Heel On This WWE Star
Nikki Bella had an unexpected alliance on RAW, but it might not last for long.
Nikki Bella made her in-ring return during the Women’s Battle Royal at WWE Evolution, where she eliminated Chelsea Green in a heated moment. The tension carried over to this week’s episode of RAW, where Bella defeated Green in a singles match.
However, the post-match beatdown by Green’s bodyguards, Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, collectively known as the “Secret Hervice,” quickly turned the spotlight away from her victory.
Just when things looked dire for Bella, Stephanie Vaquer’s music hit. The breakout star sprinted to the ring and took down Green’s enforcers, coming to Bella’s aid in a moment that sparked speculation of a possible alliance heading into SummerSlam.
Sam Roberts Explains How Nikki Bella’s Heel Turn Could Unfold
Wrestling analyst Sam Roberts discussed the development on his podcast, Notsam Wrestling, and predicted a surprising twist in the storyline. He stated that the WWE Hall of Famer, who’s currently a babyface, could turn on La Primera if the latter becomes the women’s champion at Clash in Paris. Vaquer has secured a women’s championship match by winning the Evolution Battle Royal.
“If Nikki Bella is staying around, I think what you could do is do some kind of tag team match at SummerSlam and have Nikki and Stephanie against, I don’t know, if it’s the Secret Hervice or Chelsea and Piper or Chelsea and Alba, whatever you want to do,” Roberts said.
“And then after that, Stephanie can go to Clash in Paris to get a championship match. And if Stephanie were to win the women’s championship, maybe that’s when Nikki Bella, who’s now had a couple of months to get used to things, turns and we get a heel Nikki Bella going after Stephanie Vaquer for the women’s championship. It’s all possible.”
The idea of Bella turning heel after a brief babyface run is especially intriguing given her history of character work and big-match moments. A betrayal angle involving Vaquer could elevate both stars and add more weight to the women’s division as WWE moves into its post-SummerSlam schedule.
