Nikki Bella Knows What Highlight Of Her WWE Career Will Be
Nikki Bella has accomplished it all in WWE, and she has shared what will become a career highlight someday.
It has been a WWE comeback year for Nikki Bella since she made her return to the ring at the Royal Rumble. She then spent months training for more and participated in the battle royal at the Evolution PLE, featuring only women’s matches.
On the July 14th episode of WWE Monday Night Raw, Nikki Bella beat Chelsea Green in what was Nikki’s first Raw match in seven years.
While there is nothing officially announced yet, it would appear that Nikki Bella will be back for more WWE matches soon.
In an interview on the WWE Raw Recap show, Nikki Bella talked about her comeback this year and how having her nearly 4-year-old son, Matteo, see her perform has become her career highlight.
“He’s honestly the main reason why I’ve wanted to come back, because, just like Trish (Stratus), some of us who’ve been in this business for a long time and have pretty much done it majority of our life, when we have our children and they start to grow and gain these personalities and start to realize who they are, you want to share what made you, you.
I want my son to be ringside and see what mommy’s made of, what mommy’s done her entire life. I wanna have those moments. He is such a big reason of why I’m here.”
Nikki mentioned that Matteo has only seen her wrestle on television and hasn’t seen her live, but when her son sees Mom compete, that will be Nikki’s career highlight.
“There’s nothing like being a mom. He will always be first more than anything, but my goodness, to sit there and look at him, see me in the ring, that will be the highlight of my entire career, for my entire life.”
Nikki Bella Wants Brie Bella To Make WWE Return
The Bella Twins, a duo consisting of Nikki and Brie Bella, are WWE Hall of Famers who achieved a great deal together as a team. They never won the Women’s Tag Team Titles because those titles weren’t around when the sisters were active wrestlers. However, Brie Bella recently said that she yearned to be at Evolution, but she has a busy life as a mom to her daughter, Birdie, and son, Buddy – the children she has with her future WWE Hall of Famer husband, Bryan Danielson (Daniel Bryan in WWE).
Brie: “I was yearning to be in Atlanta, to either watch live, or I would have loved to have been in a match, or been part of something. At the same time, where I’m at in my life, you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. Everything is meant to be.
Instead of trying to fight what you feel should be, enjoy what is. I’m supposed to be here with my family watching my sister and all the women kick ass. I enjoy that.
There were so many Bella Army people hitting me up, ‘I’m so bummed you’re not there.’ I am, too, but it’s Nikki’s time. Fingers crossed, I would love to come one day. If that will ever happen. If it doesn’t, then it doesn’t. That’s fine.”
Nikki Bella responded to her twin sister by making it clear that she wants Brie to return to the ring with her.
Nikki: “I hope it does. I miss you. I’m getting lonely in the hotel rooms. Everyone wants you back. The Bella Twins are stronger than just Fearless Nikki. When we are a duo, we make magic happen.”
As a recent divorcee, Nikki Bella also recently revealed that she’s on a dating app, although she admits that her son will always remain her top priority.
