Nikki Bella Seemingly Teases Ex-Champion’s Return In WWE

Nikki Bella got a title shot on WWE RAW this week.

Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer defended her title against Bella and Raquel Rodriguez in a triple threat match on the December 29 episode of Monday Night Raw in Orlando, Florida.

Rodriguez attempted a double Tejana Bomb on both opponents, but Vaquer escaped mid-air, allowing Rodriguez to hit only Bella. Vaquer then tossed Rodriguez out and pinned Bella clean to retain.

Following the Women’s World Title match on WWE RAW this week, ex-WWE Divas Champion Brie Bella was trending in the ‘sports category.’ A fan pointed this out on an X/Twitter post, which caught Nikki’s attention.

In response, Nikki Bella tweeted this, hinting at Brie’s return:

Nikki Bella Wants Sister Brie Bella To Join Her In WWE

This isn’t the first time Nikki teased Brie Bella’s return to WWE. Earlier this year, in August, she stated that she is trying to get her twin sister back in action during an interview with The Takedown on SI.

She said:

“I keep pushing it. All the women want her back, and they keep asking me every week, has that decision changed. I don’t think legacies should be determined on spouses, but I also understand business.”

Brie Bella officially retired from in-ring competition in March 2023.

She wrestled her last match at the WWE Royal Rumble 2022 at The Dome at America’s Center in St. Louis, Missouri, which saw Ronda Rousey emerge victorious in the women’s Rumble match.
