Nikki Bella Botches Finish In WWE Raw Comeback Match

Nikki Bella returned to action on WWE Raw for the first time in seven years but it wasn’t all smooth sailing for the former Divas Champion.

Nikki Bella returned to WWE to confront Liv Morgan prior to Evolution which seemed to be leading to a huge match between the two stars. However, Liv Morgan suffered a serious shoulder injury that is likely to keep her on the shelf for several months.

Instead, WWE pivoted and had Nikki Bella as part of the battle royal at Evolution, with the winner earning a title shot at Clash In Paris. Ultimately, Stephanie Vaquer won that bout and booked that championship match.

Nikki Bella Wins Despite Struggling With Finish

Bella was in action on the July 14th edition of Raw, the first time the WWE Hall of Famer had been in action on Raw since October 2018. Nikki Bella took on former WWE Women’s US Champion Chelsea Green in a match that saw Bella pick up the win. However, the end of the match was far from straightforward as Bella struggled to get Green in position for the Rack Attack 2.0, causing a messy ending.

After the match, Green and her Secret Hervice attacked Bella, but she was rescued by former NXT Women’s Champion, Stephanie Vaquer.
