Nick Khan Talks A Possible WWE Return For Stephanie McMahon

Stephanie McMahon

Nick Khan has made it clear that the door is open for the possible return of Stephanie McMahon to WWE.

Stephanie McMahon originally left WWE to take a leave of absence from the company. However, in the wake of Vince McMahon’s resignation and retirement from the company she was called back in to become co-CEO alongside Nick Khan and became Chairwoman Of The Board.

Following Vince McMahon’s return, Stephanie once again stepped away from the company, which was the beginning of the shakeup which will seemingly lead to the company being sold at some point later this year.

In a discussion with CNBC’s Closing Time, Nick Khan has now commented on the possible return of Stephanie McMahon. He noted that he feels she is now pursuing what she originally had planned when she first took her leave of absence, since she didn’t have time to do so the first time round.

On the possibility of her making a return, Khan noted that “it’s a question for her. We would always love to have her as part of WWE. The time would need to be right for her and I’m not sure if she’s there yet”.

He also commended her “phenomenal work across the board” and that she “seems to be in a great place”.

Details of an employment contract between Vince McMahon and WWE have now been revealed, seemingly confirming his current position.
