Nick Khan Says It’s An “Honor” To Work With Brock Lesnar
Brock Lesnar will be sticking around.
At SummerSlam, Brock Lesnar shocked the world when he made a surprise return to WWE to attack John Cena. The appearance was Lesnar’s first since SummerSlam 2023, when he lost to Cody Rhodes.
There had been plans for Lesnar to come back in early 2024, but those plans were scrapped after his name appeared in Janel Grant’s sex trafficking lawsuit against Vince McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinaitis.
Lesnar went on to beat John Cena at Wrestlepalooza before landing on the winning team at Survivor Series inside WarGames, where he joined Bronson Reed, Bron Breakker, Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul. The team was led by his long-term advocate, Paul Heyman.
WWE Bosses Happy To Have Brock Lesnar Back
While many fans have made it known that they aren’t exactly pleased to see Lesnar back in action, the reaction within WWE has been very different. While speaking to Daniel Cormier of ESPN, WWE President Nick Khan said that Lesnar is a “gem” to work with, and he’s delighted to have him back in the fold.
“When he walks into a room, he looks and usually is the baddest dude on the planet. That’s his personification. He is a gem to work with. Easy. As long as he sort of knows things in advance, there are no issues. We’re honored to have him back.”
During his absence in 2024 and into 2025, Brock Lesnar signed a new WWE contract after his previous deal expired. According to several reports, for a handful of months, Lesnar was a free agent, although a return to WWE always appeared his likely destination.
