Nick Khan Defends Controversial WWE Policy

WWE Nick Khan Triple H

Nick Khan has come to the defence of WWE.

In recent years, WWE has continued to increase ticket prices across the board for all of its live events and television tapings.

For the company, this has resulted in several gate records, but fans have hit back, complaining that they’re being priced out. Even Randy Orton admitted that ticket prices for WrestleMania 41 were “embarrassing.”

Meanwhile, TKO boss Mark Shapiro has claimed Vince McMahon priced WWE event tickets for families and indicated that policy is now over as they look to maximise profit.

Nick Khan Stands By WWE Changes

Speaking at the TKO 2025 Third Quarter Financials Call, WWE President Nick Khan defended the ticket price rises, claiming that the company has only kept pace with the marketplace. He added that the increased number of international events and scarcity of events in the United States is a “good thing.”

“It’s both. Capacity continues to be very high. We’ve increased prices appropriately with the marketplace. That’s for the PLEs, Raw, SmackDown, Saturday Night’s Main Event, and every other ticketed program that WWE has. We remain bullish on it.

A couple of years ago when TKO was put up, one of the first things we collectively did was reduce the non-televised live events, which created more scarcity in the marketplace for our televised events and our continued international expansion only furthered that.

In January, you’ll see us on a European tour for Raw and SmackDown, leading into Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia. Tickets already on fire for that event and it creates more scarcity in the United States, which is a good thing in terms of our overall gauge.”

Khan’s comments came after WWE reported a $31.4 million increase in live event and hospitality revenue in the third quarter of 2025.
