Nick Khan Adamant Controversial WWE Star Is Easy To Work With

Nick Khan continues to stand by an allegedly divisive WWE Superstar.

When CM Punk returned to WWE in late 2023, much was made of his attitude and how he would react to life back with the sports entertainment giant.

After all, Punk had been less than complimentary about the company since leaving in 2014, and his disdain for Triple H and others was well known. Factor in the fact that he was just two months removed from being fired by AEW for a second incident that involved a brawl backstage, and it’s unsurprising that questions were being asked.

However, since walking back into the picture at Survivor Series, Punk’s conduct has been exemplary, and several reports have confirmed he’s received nothing but praise backstage.

During an appearance on Stephanie McMahon’s ‘What’s Your Story?’ podcast, WWE boss Nick Khan praised several of his top stars for being easy to work with, including CM Punk.

“He’s [Cody Rhodes] one of our top guys right now. He’s a gem. CM Punk, whom we talked about earlier. Gem. Easy to work with. Easy Roman. Easy Heyman. Easy Triple H.

And by the way, everyone can run hot. Sometimes, not being on the creative side, just let people cool for a second, and then you can usually get the message across to them that you want.”

Nick Khan Reveals Special Instructions To WWE Creative

During the same appearance, Nick Khan admitted that he and Triple H give special instructions to the creative team regarding dealing with outspoken critics on social media.

Khan said the creative department is trained to “ignore the noise” and focus on the WWE Universe, rather than people who want to criticise the company. He added that on a personal level, he tries to ignore social media because it doesn’t represent real life.

The comments came after it was reported that Nick Khan personally reached out to R-Truth to bring him back to WWE after it was initially decided not to renew his contract.
