Nick Aldis Announces Huge Tag Team Match For WWE SmackDown

WWE SmackDown General Manger Nick Aldis

Nick Aldis has some big news for fans of WWE SmackDown.

At present, just four matches have been announced for Money In The Bank, with the tag team match between John Cena & Logan Paul and Jey Uso & Cody Rhodes taking centre stage.

Meanwhile, six men and six women will do battle across two Ladder Matches in a bid to earn a Money In The Bank contract. The men’s and women’s winners will receive a title shot of their choosing at some point during the next 12 months.

In the only other match on the card, Becky Lynch will challenge Lyra Valkyria for the Women’s International Championship. If Lynch wins, Valkyria will have to raise her hand, but if she loses, she won’t be able to challenge for the title again while Valkyria is champion.

Nick Aldis Has Big News For SmackDown

In a new video on social media, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has announced that Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso will be on the show to confront John Cena and Logan Paul.

Meanwhile, Rhea Ripley will team with Stephanie Vaquer and Alexa Bliss to face Naomi, Roxanne Perez, and Giulia before the six women meet in the women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match.

All six participants in the men’s match will also be in attendance.

Folks, let’s start with this. Every single participant in the men’s and women’s Money In The Bank matches will be in the house tomorrow night on SmackDown. Yes, every representative of both Raw and SmackDown will be there. I can only assume that’s going to lead to some explosive confrontations.

Next, how about some six-woman tag team action with Rhea Ripley teaming up with Alexa Bliss and Stephanie Vaquer to take on Naomi, Roxanne Perez, and Giulia.

And finally, Cody Rhodes, and the World Heavyweight Champion, Jey Uso, well, they’ll be in the house to confront the WWE Champion John Cena and Logan Paul one final time before their historic tag team match at Money In The Bank.

Money In The Bank 2025 will be broadcast live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California, on July 7. Meanwhile, it’s already been announced that the 2026 edition of the event will be held in New Orleans.
