Nia Jax Thinks Forgotten WWE Star Doesn’t Get Enough Credit

Nia Jax WWE

Nia Jax believes fellow WWE Superstar Tamina doesn’t get enough credit.

The daughter of WWE Hall Of Famer Jimmy ‘Superfly’ Snuka, Tamina made her WWE debut on the 24th May 2010 edition of Raw, joining forces with The Usos to attack Tyson Kidd, David Hart Smith and Natayla.

The 47 year-old has remained with the company ever since, enjoying alliances with the likes of A.J Lee and Lana before finally lifting WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship gold alongside Natalya with victory over Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax on the 14th May 2021 edition of SmackDown.

The Vancouver-born star would go on to lift the ill-fated WWE 24/7 Championship on 9 occasions but has not been seen in a WWE ring since falling to defeat at the hands of Michin on a taping of WWE Main Event on 27th February 2023.

Despite rarely being mention amongst the top female talent of her generation, Tamina has enjoyed a long tenure with the company that fellow Superstar Nia Jax believes deserves more recognition.

Speaking recently on ‘The Rich Eisen Show‘, Jax opened up about Tamina’s strong influence in the locker room:

“She doesn’t get the flowers she deserves but that woman backstage is a pillar, a rock to so many of us, and we call her mama bear because she is a true mama bear.

She’s kept me up when I needed to stay up, positive when I was trying to be negative, hydrated when I was hung over. I call her my sister because she’s truly a sister … even when I wasn’t in the company for a little bit, she was there for me when nobody else was.”

Nia Jax Breaks Character To Praise WWE

The villainous Nia Jax recently broke character to praise WWE rival Tiffany Stratton.

WWE Women’s Champion Stratton successfully cashed in her Money In The Bank contract to capture the title from former friend Jax during the 3rd January 2025 edition of SmackDown.

Despite losing the coveted gold to Stratton, Jax recently spoke highly of the reaction being garnered by the 25 year-old Superstar.
