Nia Jax has again invited criticism for her in-ring performance.

Industry veteran Jim Cornette recently reviewed the May 30 SmackDown episode on his podcast Drive Thru.

The episode featured Jax, Naomi, and Jade Cargill in a triple threat match for a spot at the Money in the Bank match.

In the closing minutes of the match, Jax stacked up Naomi on Cargill and climbed the ring ropes to hit her finishing move, Annihilator.

However, Naomi moved out at the last second, which resulted in Jax dropping her full weight on Cargill’s upper body.

Nia Jax’s move resembles Yokozuna’s finisher, though his execution was much more precise.

While calling out Jax on his recent podcast, Cornette said:

There is two reasons I can think of why you would Banzai Drop somebody in that fashion: you don’t give a f*** or you don’t like them. And ‘don’t give a f***’ is usually reserved for, ‘Well, he’s a job guy, we’ll never see him again; don’t give a f***, I gotta get over. [H/T: Cageside Seats]

Despite Jax’s domination throughout the match, Naomi captured the win.

Nia Jax was repeatedly criticized for allegedly being an unsafe worker

In the past, Nia Jax has been accused of being an unsafe worker.

She has been involved in multiple incidents that left her peers legitimately injured.

One of the most notable occasions was in 2018, during a Raw episode preceding Survivor Series. The occasion involved the women of SmackDown invading the red brand.

As a brawl ensued, Jax accidentally punched Becky Lynch in the face, resulting in a broken nose.

She was also blamed for injuring Kairi Sane during a 2020 Raw episode when she sent the Japanese star onto the ring steps, botching the move, which resulted in a cut on Sane’s forehead.
