NFL Star Heading To WWE WrestleMania 41

An All-Pro NFL player says he is going to be at WWE WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas.

The 59th Super Bowl is now behind us as the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs to win the big game. George Kittle is no stranger to the Super Bowl since he played in two of them with the San Fransisco 49ers and lost to the Chiefs both times.

As an NFL player, Kittle is a 5x All-Pro and 6x Pro Bowler who plays Tight End for the San Francisco 49ers. At 31 years old, Kittle is closer to the end of his career than the beginning, but he is on a trajectory that could put him in the Pro Football Hall of Fame in the future.

For WWE fans, the name of George Kittle might sound familiar because he appeared at WrestleMania 39 in Los Angeles.

Pat McAfee beat The Miz in a short match at WrestleMania 39 that saw Kittle get physically involved. The reason for that is because Miz shoved Kittle, who was sitting at ringside, and that led to Kittle clotheslining Miz. McAfee beat Miz with a running kick shortly after that.

Kittle was in New Orleans for this year’s Super Bowl and his WWE fandom was mentioned in an interview with Yahoo Sports NFL contributor Jason Fitz. During the discussion, Kittle confirmed he’ll be at WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas on April 19 & 20.

“I’ll be there in Las Vegas. I’m there.”

When asked if he had a future in WWE after his NFL playing days are over, Kittle said that the boss man Paul “Triple H” Levesque knows how to reach him.

“Triple H has my number.”

As an active NFL player, it is unlikely that Kittle would wrestle in WWE since he could be injured and the San Fransisco 49ers may not like that, but Kittle certainly could wrestle for the company after he retires.

Penta Wants To Work With George Kittle In WWE

When Kittle is on the field and he catches a pass for a first down, he can be seen extending his hand and pointing the hand down after. It is a tribute to one of his favorite wrestlers, Penta. The two men have become friends and Penta has been at 49ers games to support Kittle as well.

In a recent interview, Penta said that he wants to work with Kittle in WWE in the future.

“He is my best friend now, I love him. He loves me, I think.

I met him in New Orleans years ago at WrestleCon. I had like five matches and he came to my locker room after the match. ‘Hey Penta, I’m a player in the NFL.’ I’ve never seen NFL. I had never seen NFL. He gave me a jersey, I traded with the mask. After that, he became my friend. He texts me.

When the NFL went to Mexico, he brought me with him. I hope he can be with me in WWE.”

Considering that WWE has been pushing Penta quite a bit since his debut, it seems like some sort of WrestleMania interaction with Kittle is a possibility.
