Next Week’s SmackDown Set To Shape Undisputed WWE Championship Picture
The Undisputed WWE Championship has been around Cody Rhodes’ waist since he won the title back from John Cena at SummerSlam 2025. Since September, however, he has been embroiled in a rivalry with Drew McIntyre.
Cody and Drew are set to face off tonight in a Three Stages of Hell Match for the title, and the winner of the match will welcome a new challenger at this month’s Royal Rumble.
SmackDown General Manager, Nick Aldis, announced four huge matches, which are set to take place next week at Wembley Stadium during WWE’s visit to the UK next week.

Nick Aldis announced that the winners of the four matches set to be held next week will face each other in a fatal-four-way match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on January 24. The winner of that match would then challenge for the title at the Royal Rumble.
The four matches set for next week will see Rany Orton take on The Miz. Damian Priest will face Solo Sikoa, Sami Zayn goes one-on-one with Ilja Dragunov, and Matt Cardona faces Trick Williams for a shot at the title.
