News: Former WWE Superstar Rusev Announces He Tested Positive for COVID-19, Both of Wife Lana’s Parents Also Have It

It’s been a rough few weeks for former WWE Superstar Rusev, whose real name is Miroslav Barnyashev, and his wife WWE superstar Lana.

Rusev regularly plays video games with friends and talks to fans on his Twitch Channel:

“I am absolutely positive for COVID-19. I am absolutely, 100 percent, super mega incredibly positive. Yes. I got a phone call from the doctor. I got a random call from a number and I answered and she’s like…she tried to pronounce my name about six times, none of them were successful (laughs), but then I agree that she was trying to say it.”

Rusev went on to say that he had a test result that he was not positive, but the doctor said she didn’t know what he was talking about. Rusev explained that he thought he had a paper that said he was not detected, but the doctor told him that he was.

After our post went up, Miro/Rusev posted a video on his Youtube channel.

If you watch the video you can see that Rusev is physically doing well and it doesn’t sound like he has a bad case of COVID-19, but it could get worse. Every person and situation is different.

TJR Thoughts: We hope Rusev/Miro beats COVID-19 and wish him good health going forward.

Meanwhile, in the video above you can see Rusev’s wife Lana talking about how both of her parents have COVID-19. The video notes that Lana is in Nashville likely with her family. Rusev and Lana live in the Los Angeles area now although they used to live in Nashville. No, I’m not a stalker. I just know these things and if you follow them on social media then you can lear them too.

A few days earlier, Lana noted her mother was in the ICU at the hospital, but she has given updates saying her mother is doing better. Lana said that they took her mom off oxygen for over 24 hours now, so that’s a great sign. Lana spoke about how she’s in a hotel room and they are talking about releasing her soon. The doctors said that her mom is not out of the woods yet, but she is doing so much better. Lana said that she was so stressed out because she couldn’t see her for 48 hours. She added that her dad was very asthmatic.

Lana said that her dad is on day 15 now from his first symptom. She noted that he couldn’t get out of bed at all for a week. Lana said that he is not asthmatic like her mother is. Lana said that her dad thought he had allergies, but next thing you know he was bedridden because of COVID-19. She said that yesterday was the first day that he started to feel better.

Lana thanked everybody for the support via social media, texts, calls and all of the comments. She asked for people to keep them in their prayers, thoughts, and positive vibes.

Lana advised people to watch their hands and wear a mask. She said she hasn’t seen another human for ten days and hasn’t seen anybody other than her dog Joy. Lana urged people to be extra careful, wash hands, drink water, take your vitamins and so on. You could tell how stressed out she was.

TJR Thoughts: I’m glad that her mother is doing better because when she noted that her mom was in ICU that’s pretty scary. Her dad seems like he is nearly recovered, so that’s a wonderful sign.
