Newest WWE Faction Officially Named

WWE’s newest faction has now been given an official name.

On May 12, WWE filed to trademark the term ‘The High Ryze’ with the following description accompanying the filing:

Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by a professional wrestler and entertainer rendered live and through broadcast media including television and radio, and via the internet or commercial online service; providing wrestling news and information via a global computer network; providing information in the fields of sports and entertainment via an online community portal; providing a website in the field of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the field of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters in the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the field of sports entertainment.

The High Ryze Revealed On WWE NXT

WWE fans didn’t have to wait long to find out who that filing was for, as Wes Lee took on Tony D’Angelo on the May 13 edition of NXT. Lee’s entrance graphics now featured the term ‘The High Ryze,’ confirming it is the name for the faction, including Lee, Tyson Dupont, and Tyriek Igwe.

Tony D’Angelo has bigger fish to fry, however, as it was confirmed on the show that The Don of NXT will finally get his hands on the backstabbing Stacks Lorenzo at Battleground.
