Newest AEW Star Makes In-Ring Debut At Fyter Fest

AEW may have suffered losing some glamour to WWE, but their roster has been bolstered by one star who made their presence felt in the ring.

Questions about Mariah May’s wrestling future were answered when The Glamour made her WWE debut as part of the NXT brand. But Tony Khan had managed to bolster his roster before May’s shock appearance when the Toxic Spider came to AEW.

On the May 28th edition of Dynamite, Jamie Hayter was in a reflective mood when she came to the ring. However, Hayter didn’t have too long to talk before unfamiliar music hit and AEW’s newest star made her presence felt.

The Toxic Spider Thekla laid out Hayter with a vicious punch before posing in the ring. Excalibur noted in commentary that Thekla had been fired with cause from Stardom for striking the promotion’s president.

Thekla Vicious In AEW Debut

Now at AEW Fyter Fest, Thekla has shown what she can do in the ring as she made her official debut for Tony Khan’s company. Thekla took on Lady Frost in that bout, where she picked up a dominant and quick victory thanks to her Death Trap submission.

After the bout, Thekla continued her assault before Queen Aminata ran in to make the save, indicating that she will be the next opponent for the Austrian star.
