New WWE Tournament Announced
As one of pro wrestling’s most prestigious tournaments ends in NJPW, WWE has now announced their own tournament with a title shot hanging in the balance.
Bron Breakker has proved to be hugely impressive since joining the WWE main roster. Breakker claimed the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam with a massive win over Sami Zayn indicating that Breakker is set to become one of Raw’s top stars in short order.
On Raw in Fort Lauderdale, Bron Breakker appeared in a backstage segment where he broke the news that the red brand’s General Manager Adam Pearce had created a tournament to find the next number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship.

The tournament is set to begin on the 26th of August edition of Raw but so far only former WWE Tag Team Champion Jey Uso has been confirmed as taking part.
What Else Happened On WWE Raw?
Raw also saw The Wyatt Sicks make their presence felt once again as they took out Chad Gable and American Made. CM Punk also set up a huge match at Bash In Berlin as his rivalry with Drew McIntyre looks set to rumble on.
The Judgment Day also claimed the upper hand ahead of Bash In Berlin as they left the Terror Twins Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley laid out in the ring.
