New WWE Star Debuts In Disturbing Faction
One WWE star is adding to their power as they take a debuting star under their wing in the hunt for championship success.
For weeks now Shawn Spears has been looking for a word with Tony D’Angelo but interruptions keep him from making his point to the current NXT North American Champion.
However, on the 12th of November edition of NXT, Spears went looking for The Don to finally deliver his message.
Shawn Spears Wants WWE Title Match – But Not For Him
Interrupting D’Angelo’s meal, Spears entered with Brooks Jensen to make his intentions clear to an annoyed Tony D’Angelo. Shawn Spears explained that he wanted the NXT North American Championship as it was the only thing that would satisfy his hunger. But it wasn’t quite as straightforward as Spears first presented it. Instead of wanting to face D’Angelo for the title himself, Spears wanted Brooks Jensen to get the shot at the gold.
Spears and Jensen left climbing into a car where the driver seemed to be the newest member of The Chairman’s group – Niko Vance. Vance had previously competed on NXT live shows under the name Skylor Clinton before debuting his new moniker in September on NXT Level Up.

Vance has yet to compete on the weekly Tuesday NXT show but it looks like the next step in his career now that he is under the wing of Shawn Spears.
Tony D’Angelo defeated Oba Femi for the NXT North American Championship on the 8th of October edition of NXT and retained the title by defeating Femi again at Halloween Havoc in a Tables, Ladders & Scares match.
